As a scientist part of my work is to write about it. Therefore, I have created this homepage. While my interests and hobbies are quite diverse meditation and yoga have been accompanying me for a long time.
In meditation I try to explore anicca, dukkha & anatta. If you are intrigued by those concepts I can recommend writings and lectures from Alan Watts and Sam Harris. Both are western scholars who in their own and unique ways translate those concepts into western thought. Both have influenced my thinking over the last years.
Despite many years of yoga I remain physically inflexible. Don't be discouraged if the same is true for you. Yoga is primarily about the mental state with which you move your body. The main benefit that I experienced over the last years is an increase in equanimity and (self)compassion as a consequence of regular practice.
